يتضمن هذا الكتاب:ثلاث ثورات لأبعاد الحب الزواجي.
1-ثورة البعد البيوكيميائي على نظرية العالم داروين بأنَ الحب هو عملية قدريَة للطبيعة ترافق تطوُر الكائنات الحيَة، قوامها إفرازات متبادلة لهورمونات كيميائية، تأميناً للتناسل وديمومة حياة الأجناس.
2- ثورة البعد اللاهوتيّ التي أطلقها المجتمع الفاتيكاني الثاني على العقلية البطريركية التقليدية، بالرجوع إلى السيد المسيح الذي أعاد إلى المرأة كرامتها ودعا إلى مساواتها بالرجل، بمباركة الزواج في عرس قانا الجليل، حيث شكَل حضوره بالجسد مع الزوجين ثالوثية إنسانية إرتفع فيها الحب إلى ما فوق الطبيعة وصار إنعكاساً للحب الإلهي في الثالوثية الإلهية، حيث يشعُ في الحي الإنساني لهب الحب الإلهي النابع من الروح القدس.
3- ثورة البعد القانوني للمجتمع الفاتيكاني الثاني على مفهوم الزواج التقليدي، بإعلان الزواج شركة في الحياة والحب تهدف إلى خير الزوجين المؤدي إلى إنجاب البنين. كان لا بد من إدراج هذا التعليم في النصوص القانونية للعمل بموجبها قضائياً. وأوَل من مهَد لهذه الصياغة هو القاضي في محكمة الروتا الرومانيا المطران أغناطيوس رعد اللبناني الذي أصدر حكماً سنة 1973 أكَد فيه أن المرأة في الزواج هي شريكة الرجل في الحقوق والواجبات قبل أن تكون أمَاً. وقد تكرَس هذا الإجتهاد في قانوني الزواج الغربيّ (1983) والشرقيّ (1990). ولا يزال قضاة مختلف المحاكم في العالم إلى يومنا هذا يرجعون إلى هذا الإجتهاد في أخكامهم القضائية.
