درّة من دُرر الأسلاف والأجداد، هو شرح «قصيدة البردة» لإمام مادحي الرسول ﷺ شرف الدين البوصيريّ رحمه الله تعالى. وقد كان الإمام ابن علان الصّدّيقي المكّيّ من شرّاح هذه البردة الشريفة؛ حيث خطّ بيده نسختين مخطُوطتين نفيستين من هذا الشرح الذي اهتم فيه بشرح أبيات البردة بعبارة سهلة، وبإبانة للمعاني، مع تحليل صرفي ونحوي لمتن القصيدة، وبيان النكت البلاغية، وإيضاح العلاقة المعنوية بين كثير من الأبيات، وتفسير بعض الاصطلاحات التي يوردها، مع ذكر عدد من أسماء المراجع التي ينقل منها مادة شرحه هذا. وقد صدّر المحقق تحقيق هذا الأثر الجليل بدراسة عن المدائح النبوية بصفة عامة، وعن قصيدة البردة وأثرها في الأدب العربي بصفة خاصة، وأُخرى عن كلّ من الناظم والشارح، وثالثةٍ عن هذا الشرح وعن أسلوب الشارح فيه، ثم جاء بعد ذلك النص المحقق مقسماً إلى عشرة فصول، تلاه متن قصيدة البردة، ثم زمرة من الفهارس الفنية.
