إن المقاومة اليوم باتت ذاتها قيمة كبرى من قيم العز والعنفوان والحياة، وهي بذاتها اليوم تخوض أخطر صراع، تُستخدم فيه قوة الإرهاب الدولي، كما تُستخدم فيه كل العدة المفاهيمية التي ترى في طلب الشهادة إنتحاراً ومغامرةً، وفي الحياة ركوناً للذين ظلموا، ودعةً تبحث عن إسترضاء أسياد القوة، والمال، والسلطان، ولو على حساب بيع الذات والذاكرة والتاريخ، وإعدام الحق، وقضايا الأمة والإنسان، وإرتهان الواقع لسماسرة الصفقات الدولية والإقليمية.
إنهم اليوم يريدون أن يشوّهوا معنى الإنتصار، فأبلسوا قائلين إن النصر رفضٌ للحياة، وإن قيمة الحياة بمقدار ما نستمتع بلذائذها، بلهوها ولعبها، بالرقص الماجن ولو على جثث البؤس القابع خلف قضبان السجون وعلى أشلاء المشردين المنفيين من أرضهم وأوطانهم وحقوقهم المشروعة؛ من أجل ذلك، كان لا بُدِّ من مؤتمر دائم حول المقاومة يعالج مفاهيمها وثقافتها ومسارها وتداعيات نهوضها في حياة الأمة ووجدانها.
وكان لا بد لنا من أن تختار "قيم المقاومة" محوراً لمؤتمرنا لهذا العام، لنقول إن المقاومة إرادة إنسان هذا الوطن، وليست مشروع طائفة او مذهب فيه، وإن المقاومة خيار بناء للمستقبل يقوم على قيم إنسانية ودينية ترى في الشهادة شهوداً، وشهادة حقٍ، من أجل العدالة والتحرير والإستقلال العزيز.
