أن تحب أطفالنا ونقدم لهم وجبات مفيدة لأنهم شبعوا من أكل الزبالة (Garbage Food) وحفظوا كثيراً، وآن لهم أن يستردوا عقولهم، وعلينا أن نعيد لهم الثقة قبل أن يصنعوها بأنفسهم ويتخلون عنا، فنفقد قيمتنا ونندم على ذلك، لذلك علينا أن نتعلم فكرة أن ليس هنالك ما هو متأخر... لنقدم الأفكار والثقة للأطفال.
من هنا ظهر أهمية كتاب عادات العقل وربطها بالتفكير، وقد تم تزويد الكتاب ببرنامج يمكن تبنيه في مواقف تعلمية مدرسية تغيّر في دور المعلم وتجعله محبوباً من طلبته، وتغيّر دور المتعلم وتزيد من قيمته ونشاطه لتحقيق أهدافه عن وعي.
