وهذا الكتاب هو سجل شرف لأساتذة هذا الفن ذكرى لأسمائهم وإحياء لعطائهم أقدمه خدمة للخط ومحبة فيه وفي دراسية وأصحابه وذويه- ورغبة في أعلاء شأنه ورفع رايته- ابتغى من وراء ذلك عفو الله ورضوانه وأن يغفر لي ولوالدي وللمؤمنين يوم الحساب.
