يضم هذا الكتيب تقرير المنظمة المصرية لحقوق الإنسان الذي تصدى بموضوعية وبشجاعة للكشف عن الجرام التي ارتكبتها أجهزة الأمن في قرية الكشح والذي أدى إلى فتح النيران على المنظمة ومجمل حركة حقوق الإنسان. كما يوثق الكتيب لعدد من البيانات الرسمية التي توضح موقف حركة حقوق الإنسان من أزمة الكشح وتداعياتها.
ويضم الكتيب كذلك وثيقة إدانة دامغة لممارسات التعذيب وتلفيق الاتهامات ضد المواطنين من خلال حيثيات حكم قضائي هام أصدرته محكمة جنايات الإسكندرية في ذات التوقيت الذي كان يجري فيه التعتيم على جرائم الشرطة في قرية الكشح. ويعرض الكتيب أيضاً لسلسلة من مقالات لفيف بارز من الكتاب الشرفاء الذين تصدوا بأقلامهم للهجمة الحكومية على منظمات حقوق الإنسان وحملات التشهير التي عمدت إلى التغطية على الجرائم والانتهاكات الجسيمة في الكشح عبر صخب إعلامي حول التمويل الأجنبي لمنظمات حقوق الإنسان وعلاقات هذه المنظمات بالخارج.
