رسالة المسترشدين لأبي عبد الله الحارث بن أسد المحاسبي البصري، وهو من الرعيل الأول من الصوفية الصادقين كما كان إماماً في الحديث والفقه والكلام وله في علومها عدة كتب ومصنفات وأكثرها في التصوف الذي هو تربية علمية وعملية للنفوس وغرس للفضائل. وقد سلك المحاسبي في بعض كتبه مسلك الإطناب والإسهاب حتى لم يده زيادة لمستزيد وسلك في بعضها مسلك الجزالة والإيجاز مكتفياً بقصير للكلام عن طويله.
قد ضمن في هذه الرسالة غالي النصح وأطيب الإرشاد وأكثر فيها من الإرشاد والتوجيه والنهي والتحذير. وأصل هذه الرسالة مخطوطة قابلها المحقق رحمه الله بما توفر من نسخ، فعلق عليها ما يزيدها بياناً ونفعاً وعزى الآيات الكريمات إلى سورها وموقعها منها، كما خرج الأحاديث الشريفة وترجم للمؤلف ترجمة مستوفاة تعرف بمكانته.
