لا يختلف اثنان على أهمية اللعب في النمو العقلي وتأثيره البالغ في تكوين شـخـصـيـة الطـفـل, ولكن لابد وأن يكتـسب للعـب قيمة تربوية بتوجيهه؛ وبألا نتركه للمصادفة, فالتربية العفوية لا تضمن تحقيق القيمة البنائية للعب, وإنما يتحقق النمو الـسـليم للطـفـل بالتربية المدروسة والعلـميـة والواعيـة والتي تضع خصـائص نمو الطفل ومقومات تكوين شخصيته في نطاق نشاط تربوي هادف. نعم اللعب يساعد الطفل لإدراك محيطه الخارجي, ومع تقدم عمر الطفل تزداد مهاراته في أثناء ممارسته للألعاب والأنشطة المختلفة. وكما أن الألعاب التي يقوم فيها الطفل بالاستكشاف والتجميع وغيرها من أشكال اللعب الذي يميز مرحلة الطفولة المتأخرة وتثري حياته العقلية بشتى المعارف من العالم الذي يحيط به. ولكن مازالت القراءة وتنشيط مراكز الإبداع من خلال الرسم وألعاب الذكاء لها نصيب أكبر في صياغة عقل الطفل. وها هنا نقدم لأطفالكم لعبة المتاهات التي يحبها كل الأطفال والتي تحفز الطفل على التفكير، كما أنها تتيح لكم الفرصة لمشاركة أطفالكم اللعب والتفكير من خلال تصويب الأخطاء ومن ثم تعلم الطفل الإيمان بروح الجماعة وتزيد من أواصر المحبة والترابط بينكم.
