إن النتائج المتوقعة من المؤتمر هو التشجيع ومساندة الدول في بناء القدرات لتطوير وصياغة سياسات مساندة للتجارة والبيئة في أن واحد لخدمة التنمية المستدامة وإزالة الفقر ، هذا التجمع سوف يسهم فى توفير المدلاخت التقنية والعلمية وشفافية الجدال حول التجارة والبيئة.
