المجموعة استدراج لهم عاشه الكاتب قبل أن يبزغ فجره نحو العالم المخبوء خلف نهر الفرات، يوم كانت موجاته تحتضن النوارس، فأخذته الحروب من حضنها وحضن الفرات ورمته في دهاليز البارود ليختنق برائحة الموت، إلا إن قيامته لم تحن في الحروب، وحين خرج بمرق نحيف لم يجد قدميه في المدينة ذاتها.. غير أن رواتها وناسها وأبطالها الشعبيين ظلوا كما هم في ذاكرته الريانة، فكتب عنهم القصص التي دونت قبل عام 2003.
"مداعبة الخيال" استدراج لكل ما له صلة بهذه المدينة التي بقيت متعايشة لأنها تحب من يشم رائحتها.
