نظراً لما رآه الشيخ "أحمد بن غنيم بن سالم بن مهنا النفراوى المالكي الأزهري" في رسالة "أبي محمد عبد الله بن أبي زيد عبد الرحمن القيرواني المالكي" الملقبة "بباكورة السعذ" و "زبدة المذهب" من فائدة كبيرة، كان أن وضع لها شرحاً شاملاً أسماه "الفواكه الدواني"، تكون فيه المعاني والشروح كالقطوف الدانية لمن يقرأها، فلا تغمض عليه، وقد جاء الشرح فى مجلدين انقسمت الأبواب بينهما، مبدأ المجلد الأول بباب ما تنطق به الألسنة وتعتقده الأفئدة من واجب أمور الديانات.. وانتهى بباب أحكام الجهاد، أما المجلد الثاني فبدأ فيه ببيان الإيمان وانتهى بباب الرؤيا والتثاؤب، وخاتمة تشمل بعض المسائل مثل استحباب الترحم علي الصحابة والتابعيين وإستحباب لصلاة والسلام فى ابتداء الكتب والرسائل وغير هذا من المسائل مما لم يرد ذكرله في أبواب الكتاب.
