لم أهدف من وراء كتابي هذا إلى تحطيم صورة شخصية تعتز بها، أو هز ثقتك فيها أو جعلك تنصرف عنها.. كل ما عنيته هو أن أمنحك صورة متكاملة لما تفعله النخب في المجتمع إن لم تكن على قدر الحدث أو اللحظة التاريخية، وكيف يمكن أن تدفع الناس في الطريق الخطأ وتثير البلبلة والتخبط إن لم تنظر للمصلحة الجمعية للوطن.. قد تدرك من كتابي بعد قراءته أن نخبتنا في مصر لم تكن واعية لما حدث بعد أحداث 25 يناير 2011 ولما يجب أن يكون عليه المستقبل، أو كانت واعية ولكنها آثرت المصلحة الخاصة أو الضيقة.. ستدرك أن النخب المصرية.. بكل الأطياف بحاجة لمراجعة ذاتها، والتوقف أمام ضمائرها للإجابة عن سؤال واحد: إلى أين تريد الذهاب بهذا الوطن؟؟ أرجو أن تمنحك شهادتي الواقعية من واقع المعايشة إجابة عن هذا السؤال الذي قد تتجاهله النخب.
