هدف الكتاب هذا حل مشكلة قائمة بين المسلمين، هناك من قال بـ قدسيتها، وقال آخر: أرض كرب وبلاء، معتمدين على ما رووه من أحاديث منسوبة للنبي وأهله، لذلك كنا مضطرين إلى دراسة أسانيدها وهذا ما فعلناه، ولكن ورد في هذه الأحاديث ما يفيد إعتقاد أهل السنة (الشيعة الإمامية) من النبوءة في مقتل الإمام الحسين عليه السلام فيها فــ إذا رفضنا هذه الأحاديث نكون نسفنا جزءاً من إعتقادهم، وقد يحكموا علينا الإنحراف عن الخط أو نكون زنادقة ملحدين، وهذا ما لا نستطيع دفع ثمنه لأنه مكلف وأكبر من حجمنا، قد نغرق في قاروة ماء، وعليه أصبحنا في حيرة من أمرنا نقبل أو نرفض، وهذا ما دعانا إلى دراسة متون الأحاديث منفردة ومن ثم التعليق عليها مجتمعة ودراسة أسانيدها.
العنوان طالما حققت فيه وبذلت قصارى جهدي ما زلت اعتقد أنه بحاجة إلى رصانة اكثر فتشت عن خبير Searched for an expert يقيمه لكن يا حسرة أصحاب الخبرة قليلون وقد شغلهم اليهود بوسائل معروفة، وبالمحصلة النهائية وصلنا إلى حد لم يصل له غيرنا والله المستعان.
وبعد مخاض صعب تبلورة الفكرة عن خمسة فصول، الأول والثاني منها نصتا أحاديث النبي وآله (عليهم السلام) على إنها أرض كرب وبلاء، سبقتهما توطئة بينا فيها بعض المضمونات.
والسؤال هنا إذا كانت كذلك لماذا هاجر الإمام الحسين عليه السلام إليها؟ وهل قصدها في مسيرة أم جاء إلى الكوفة وعندما منعوه توجه إليها هذا ما ناقشناه في الفصل الثالث.
وحتى نثبت إنها أرض كرب وبلاء لا بد من توافر المصاديق على ذلك، ولم يكن لدينا أقوى من الذي حل بمعسكر الإمام الحسين عليه السلام يوم عاشوراء طرقناه في الفصل الرابع، الذي كان أطول فصول الكتاب وقد أخذ حصة الأسد كما يقولون.
وأخيراً المعروف أن الناس تهرب من الكرب والبلاء، أسميناهم المتخاذلون ذكرناهم في الفصل الخامس، ومن الجدير بــ الإشارة أننا لا نرغب في كتابة الخواتيم ولا قائمة المصادر لعدم قناعاتنا بهما.
