Book Description
يقصد بالحلى الشعبية النوبية، تلك الحلي التي تصاغ عادة في الذهب أو الفضة، بالإضافة إلى بعض الأحجار الكريمة أو نصف الكريمة التي تشكل عادة على هيئة فصوص أو خرزات. وهذه الأحجار مثل الفيروز والعقيق الأحمر (الكرنالين) والعقيق المجزع بشرائط سوداء وبيضاء، وهو ما يطلق عليه اسم البجاري الأحمر بالعربية، وغيرها الأحجار المقلدة المصنوعة من الزجاج وغيره من المواد.
ويهتم البحث الذي بين يدينا بما يصاغ من الذهب والفضة، ويقدم دراسة وتحليلاً فنياً وتقنياً لهذه المصنوعات، أكثر من الحلي الأخرى التي تصنع كاملة من خامات أخرى غير فلزية (معدنية)، كما ويقدم كشفاً يتحدث عن أصول الحلي الشعبية النبوية والمؤثرات والثقافات التي ساهمت في تطوير هذه الحلي وجعلت لها طابعها المميز، خاصة وأن بلاد النوبة لم تنفصل تماماً عن مصر في أي عصر من العصور منذ فجر الحضارة المصرية القديمة، كما واهتمت الدراسة بالتعريف ببعض الثقافات والمعتقدات والأفكار التي أثرت على هذا الشعب وعلى مجتمعه وتقاليده وعاداته، وضمن هذه التقاليد والعادات استخدمه الحلى بأشكال وطراز معينة، تجعل هذه الحلي تعمل سمات مميزة قد تختلف عن بقية الحلي الشعبية المصرية كما يمكن أن تكون أساليب صناعة هذه الحلي ما زالت محتفظة ببعض الأساليب القديمة المتوارثة مما يلقي الضوء على الطرق التي كانت متبعة في تشكيل وصياغة الحلي أقدم العصور.
