قدم للديوان بكلمة الأستاذ غاندي ملاعب، ومما جاء فيها: "... قصائده الثائرة" تتنقل بين المدن والسهوب والتلال ... / تتصارع كلماته مع الحقيقة والسراب / مع النور والظلام ... فيغني وجعه مع ذاته الإنسانية المتدلية في أحسن تصوير، كأسراب العصافير .. الآتية من ظلمة الدياجير ... قصائده مشرقةٌ تثور على الأوضاع التقليدية، لتطفو مع الريح سنبلة رقيقة قوية صابرة وبسيطة، سنبلة تفتحُ يديها نحو الآخر، والآخر نحوه ...".
