«بقايا قلب» هو عنوان أشعار حصة العوضي التي استهلتها بإهداء لكل من أحب.. لكل من يحب، في اشارة إلى العاطفة المتدفقة التي تنساب من المقاطع مائجة بالمشاعر القوية التي تعكس وتضيء هذه العاطفة بالكلمات، وقد وصف الدكتور صبري مسلم تجربة العوضي في ديوانها «بقايا قلب» بأنها: تمتلك ذائقة ايقاعية خاصة بين نسق قصيدة التفعيلة والقصيدة الحرة. وقال مسلم انها: اختارت تفعيلات تنتمي لبحور شعرية متنوعة بيد ان تفعيلات الرمل والرجز والكامل استأثرت باثنتي عشرة قصيدة من هذه المجموعة، وفيما يخص دلالات القصائد ومضامينها فقد اطل الحب بمعناه الواسع في معظم قصائد المجموعة، كما اشتملت المجموعة على احساسات متباينة تجتاح اعماق الشاعرة وهي تقع بين الهم الذاتي والهم القومي والشأن الانساني الجماعي، ومن ذلك ان النص ينصرف إلى التغني بالوطن او التأسي على تشظي الامة وفرقتها مما يعزز فكرة التنوع في شعر حصة العوضي. - جريدة الوطن
