لقد تحدثت في هذا الكتاب عن قصة الكون بصورة مختصرة جدا وبطريقة علمية بحتة وبأسلوب مبسط، حتى تكون قصة الكون واضحة مفهومة لدى المختص في علم الفلك والفيزياء الفلكية وهواة الفلك وكل من يتحدث اللغة العربية، وكما ذكرت فقد تحدثت بأسلوب علمي بحت، بعيدا عن لغة الإعجاز العلمي في القرآن الكريم، وخاصة الآيات القرآنية التي تحمل معاني فلكية وكونية، وذلك لغرض هام واجهته كثيرا في حياتي من خلال نشري لكتب سابقة تتحدث عن الإعجاز العلمي الكوني والفلكي في القرآن الكريم، ومنها كتابي (الكون طريقي إلى الله) والعديد من المقالات الفلكية التي تتحدث عن الإعجاز الكوني في القرآن الكريم.
وبحمد الله تعالى وفضله علي، فقد انتهيت من تأليف كتابي هذا ليحكي قصة الكون منذ اللحظات الأولى من عمره وحتى يومنا هذا، حيث بلغ عمر الكون حوالي 13 مليار سنة (13 ألف مليون سنة) ولأنني احكي قصة الكون فكان من الضروري ان أوضح في بداية الكتاب صورة الكون كما تخيلها البشر في كهوفهم وبيوتهم المبنية من الحجارة عندما كانوا يرنون ببصرهم نحو السماء بشكل دائم، وحتى عصر اليونان وفلاسفته الذين بنوا صورة الكون بناء على خيالهم الذي اعتمدوا عليه أكثر من الرصد في الكثير من الأحيان.
