إن تطوير المؤسسات التربوية يعد مدخلاً أساسياً للتنمية الشاملة كونها الأداة الفاعلة والحيوية في المجتمعات الإنسانية، وإن كانت تلك المؤسسات كذلك، فإن الإدارة التربوية هي المفتاح لعملية إصلاح التعليم وتطويره لمواجهة حاجات المجتمع وتطلعاته.
من هنا، إن الإهتمام بالإدارة المدرسية يستدعي الإهتمام بالإنسان، الذي يشكل اللبنة الأساسية والركيزة الهامة في المؤسسات أيا كان مجال نشاطها وبشكل خاص التربوية، منها، والإنسان يعمل ضمن مناخ تنظيمي يعبر عن الخصائص التي تميز مؤسسة عن أخرى، ويدركها الأفراد العاملون داخل تلك المؤسسة مما يجعل تلك الخصائص تؤثر في السلوك الوظيفي لديهم.
وهذا، بالتالي ينعكس على أداء وإنتاجية الأفراد ونجاح المؤسسة ومدى قدرتها على الإستمرار والنمو والتطور، لذا فإن مستوى الأداء والدافعية لدى المعلمين يعتمد على مدى تقبل المعلمين لمهنتهم وإقبالهم على تحقيق الأهداف التي أنشئت المؤسسة التربوية من أجلها.
وعليه، فإن دراسة المناخ التنظيمي والتعرف على أبعاده والعوامل المؤثرة فيه أمر ضروري وملح من أجل أن تحقق المؤسسات التربوية أهدافها المتوخاة منها بكفاية وفاعلية، وعلى الرغم من إنتشار الدراسات المرتبطة بالمناخ التنظيمي بشكل عام، إلا أنه لا يزال موضوع جدل، مما يستدعي تناوله بالبحث والدراسة، وتوضيح مدى تأثيراته في المجالات المتعلقة والمرتبطة بتلك المؤسسات وخصوصاً دافعية المعلمين لأداء عملهم فيها.
وتسعى هذه الدراسة لبيان العلاقة بين المناخ التنظيمي ومستوى الدافعية التي قد تتولد عند المعلمين والمعلمات تجاه عملها، لكي تكون مجالاً للتطبيق العملي من قبل مديري ومديرات المدارس خصوصاً عند الكشف عن الطرق التي من خلالها يمكن تحسين بيئة العمل والمناخ داخل المؤسسات التربوية، بالإضافة لذلك فإنها تعتبر الدراسة الوحيدة التي بحثت في هذا المجال في مدارس محافظة جرش.
