مذكرات وذكريات ينسجها صاحبها على شكل قصص قصيرة جداً .. وهي مجرد حكايا من حكايا وخبايا ذكرياته في العمل المصرفي في فروع بنك BBAC أي بنك بيروت والبلاد العربية .. المصرف الأحب على قلبه .. وهذه الفروع شملت ضواحي لبنان وأريافه . ولا شك أن هذه الحكايا أو المذكرات تشكل متعة لمن أحب ويحب العمل المصرفي .. إذ أنها تكشف لمن يطلع عليها على هكذا تجربة ، وتكشف لهم ما يجهله زبون المصرف عما يمر في حياة مدير البنك في المناطق وكيف يكتشف جهل الزبون بالمحاذير القانونية أحياناً أو بأنظمة البنك وبتعليمات إدارته الخاصة بكل حالة أو بكل تفصيل يتعلق بالخدمة التي يريدها الزبون . أما عنوان الكتاب ، فهو يشير ، كما يذكر صاحب المذكرات - إلى متعة خاصة عاشها في عمل الفروع ، حيث يتألف كل مصرف من دوائر وأقسام، لإدارته من جهة ، ومن جهة أخرى من فروع أيضاً لإدارته : ففي دوائر وأقسام الإدارة يتعامل الزبون على الغالب مع الأرقام وحتى الزبائن من جهة الإدارة تلك هي أرقام . أما في إدارة الفروع ، فإن الزبون يتعامل مع إنسان .. بما له من مشاعر وأحاسيس ، وبالتالي فإن هذا الموظف الإداري بما يتملكه من مشاعر ، وبالنسبة لصاحب هذه المذكرات بالتحديد ، يجد متعة كبيرة ، أكبر بكثير من تعامله مع الأرقام الجافة الجامدة التي لا تمت للمشاعر بصلة ، ويذكر هنا ، ويكشف عن حقيقة فإن هناك زملاء قلائل من كل بنك لا يصلحون إطلاقاً للعمل في الفروع ، إذ أن التعامل مع الإنسان يمثل فناً بحدّ ذاته ، لذا لم ينجح كثيرون ممن عملوا في الفروع ، بينما نجح آخرون لما يمتلكونه من أساليب في حسن التعامل مع الإنسان بصورة عامة ، ومع الزبون على وجه الخصوص مهما امتلكوا من صفات ، ومهما تحلّوا به من أخلاق وطباع ، ومهما كانت متطلباتهم .. لذا يجد القارىء بأن المؤلف أضاف إلى عنوان مذكراته هذه جملة يعبر من خلاله عن هذا كله بقوله " متعة العمل في الفروع " ليؤكد على أنه فعلاً كان استمتاعه كبيراً بتعامله مع الزبائن .. فمتعة العلاقات الإنسانية ، وهي بالنسبة له ، هي أثمن وأسمى من أي عمل آخر .. مادي أو معنوي ، متجنباً بأن لا يصل حال هذا البلد في هذه البنوك إلى ما وصل إليه حال الغرب ، وخاصة في أوروبا وأميركا .. إذ أصبح الزبون يتعامل مع الآلات فقط .
