(من واحة السنة والأدب) كتاب يضم تقديم الأمير شكيب أرسلان لكتابان إثنان؛ الأول يحمل عنوان: "النقد التحليلي لكتاب في الأدب الجاهلي"، لمؤلفه محمد أحمد الغمراوي، والثاني هو "قواعد التحديث من فنون مصطلح الحديث" لمؤلفه السيَد جمال الدين القاسمي، علاَمة الشام في أيامه، وقد استطاع الأمير في هذين التقديمين أن يقوم بدراسة بنَاءة تلقي الضوء على الموضوع المطروح في كلا الكتابين من خلال دراسة نقدية جادة تناولت في الكتاب الأول: المسائل الأدبية ما بين الشرق والغرب، من خلال التعليق على كتاب الأديب طه حسين "في الأدب الجاهلي"، مشيراً إلى ما نقل إلينا نت الغربيين من خصال، واصفاً بعضها بالردئ، وقد أشبعها تفسيراً وشرحاً وموازنة. أما عمله في الكتاب الثاني، فقد كانت مقدمته تربوية أعطت بصاحب الكتاب – القاسمي- حقه في تبحره في سنَة الرسول (صلى الله عليه وسلم) وكيفية نشرها وإيصالها إلى الناشئة.
ومسك الختام ما قاله الأمير في سائر العلوم والمعارف ".. ليس العلوم والمعارف في الدنيا شرقية ولا غربية، بل هي سلسلة واحدة يلد بعضها بعضاً: فشرقي أصله غربي وغربي أصله شرقي، وهلم جراً. فكلمة العلوم الأوربية "إصطلاح عاميَ في الحقيقة، فإنَ العلم لا وطن له...".
من محتويات الكتاب نذكر: مقدمة بعنوان: الشعر الجاهلي، أمنحول أم صحيح النسبة؟، تقليد الأوربيين في ما ليس من علومهم، الشعر الجاهلي والإسلام، مادة "الأدب" في الكلام العربي... الخ.
