ابن الحاجِب (570 - 646 هـ = 1174 - 1249 م)
عثمان بن عمر بن أبي بكر بن يونس الدويني الأسنائي الشهير بـ ابن الحاجب.
فقيه مالكي، من كبار العلماء بالعربية. كردي الأصل. ولد في إسنا (من صعيد مصر) ونشأ في القاهرة، وسكن دمشق، ومات بالإسكندرية. وكان أبوه حاجبا فعرف به. من تصانيفه «الكافية - ط» في النحو، و «الشافية - ط» في الصرف، و «مختصر الفقه - خ» استخرجه من ستين كتابا، في فقه المالكية، ويسمى «جامع الأمهات» [ثم طُبع] و «المقصد الجليل - ط» قصيدة في العروض، و «الأمالي النحوية - خ» و «منتهى السول والأمل في علمي الأصول والجدل - ط» في أصول الفقه، و «مختصر منتهى السول والأمل - ط» و «الإيضاح - خ» في شرح المفصل للزمخشري، و «الأمالي المعلقة عن ابن الحاجب - خ» في الكلام على مواضع من الكتاب العزيز وعلى المقدمة وعلى المفصل وعلى مسائل وقعت له في القاهرة وعلى أبيات من شعر المتنبي، منه نسخة في مكتبة عابدين بدمشق، وثانية في خزانة الرباط (209 أوقاف)

Book Description
آثرت أن أقدم متن (الشافية) لابن الحاجب؛ فهو عمل علمي نافع نال حظه من عناية الباحثين والدارسين عبر العصور.
فقد رأيت أن متن (الشافية) في ذاته يجب أن يقدم في استقلال، وأن يوضع أمام القارئ ليأخذ منه معطيات يروض نفسه على فهمها والاستفادة بها، بالإضافة إلى أن أحدث طبعاتها جاءت سنة (1311هـ) أي: منذ أكثر من مائة عام.
وقد اعتمدت في تقديم هذا المتن على مخطوطتين من دار الكتب المصرية: تحمل أولاهما رقم (صرف طلعت 103)، وتحمل الثانية رقم (مخطوط صرف طلعت 107)، بالإضافة إلى مخطوطات أخرى معاونة من الموجودة بالدار كذلك.
أما عن الشافية في التصريف فهي مقدمة مشهورة في هذا الفن كمقدمته (الكافية) المعروفة في النحو. وهي- كما قالوا-: جمعت خلاصة كتاب سيبويه ومفصل الزمخشري؛ ولهذا اعتنى بشأنها العلماء ولها شروح وترجمات. فمن شروحها: شرح له هو عليها، وإن كان شرحه غير موجود والموجود منه نتف وإشارات. وقد اعتنى بشأنها جماعة من الشراح. والمتداول من شروحها: شرح الفاضل فخر الدين أحمد بن الحسن الجاربردي المتوفى سنة ست وأربعين وسبعمائة (746).
