وتعتبر دراسة القيم من أصعب الدراسات فى الانثربولوجيا وأكثرها تشويقا فى الوقت ذاته، كما أنها لا تخلو من المزالق، ولذا كان معظم الانثربولوجى، بما فى ذلك الانثربولوجيون الثقافيون -يبتعدون عن التعرض لها.
