هذا الكتاب ليس كتاباً في الفيزياء أو في علوم الكون، وإنما هو تأملات فيما يربط الفيزياء بما وراء الفيزياء، وفيما يربط علوم الكون بما وراء علوم الكون.
إن حركة الكون لا ينبغي أن تختزل في قوانين الفيزياء وحدها أو في القوى الأربع التي اكتشفها علماء الفيزياء والتي تحكم أو تتحكم في كل تداخل بين أجسام الكون ومواده وذراته وإلكتروناته في تفاعلها وعلاقاتها فيما بينها وحدها كالجاذبية والكهرومغناطيسية والقوى النووية الشديدة والضعيفة، وإنما هنالك إرادة الله تعالى خالق الكون وراء كل هذه القوى والقوانين.
وهذه الإرادة هي قدر الله عزّ وجلّ وسره العظيم الذي لا تدركه الفيزياء بتفاسيرها ونظرياتها، ولا تدركه علوم الكون بفروضها وتجاربها التي تقف دون ذلك ولا تصل إليه.
تحدث القرآن الكريم عن خلق السموات والأرض، وعن خلق ما فيهن، وعن خلق ما بينهما، تحدث عن خلق الكون، وعن سننه وقوانينه وعن نظامه وإنتظامه في آيات كثيرة تظهر لنا قدرة الله تعالى الخالق وبديع صنعه وجليل سلطانه، مثلما تظهر لنا غاياته من خلقه الخلق... من خلقه الكون بسمواته وإراضيه وشمسه وقمره وكواكبه ونجومه وملائكته وجنّه وإنسه.
هذا الكتاب لا يخوض في تفاصيل النظريات ما تتضمنه من معادلات وعلاقات ورموز رياضية فهذا من إختصاص أصحاب الشأن من الفيزيائيين ومن غيرهم من أهل العلم التجريبي المحض.
إن ما يبحثه هذا الكتاب هو المبادئ العامة والأسس التي تنطلق منها هذه النظريات، والنتائج أو القوانين التي تتوصل إليها، وما يمكن أن تسهم به في تغير نظرتنا إلى الكون وما فيه من أجسام، أو من كواكب ونجوم ومعجزات، وأفلاك تسبح فيها، وما بينها من علاقات، وما فيه من قوى فيزيائية تتحكم في كل ذلك، أو يتحرك بموجبها كل ذلك في هذا الكون الفسيح، ومدى إرتباط ذلك كله بما وراءه... بما وراء الفيزياء.
