يسعدنا أن نقدم هذه الطبعة الثانية من كتاب الصحة المدرسية، حيث لا تزال موضوعات هذا الكتاب تلقى اهتماماً سواء من المهتمين بدراسة منهج "الصحة المدرسية"، أو المهتمين بالقراءة العامة والمعرفة لموضوعات هذا الكتاب التي ترتبط ارتباطاً وثيقاً بالمدرسة وبطلاب المدارس الذين يمثلون نسبة معقولة لسكان أي دولة، كما أنها ترتبط بالصحة العامة والمجتمع، ولذلك فإن هذا الكتاب يعتبر أحد الكتب الهامة الذي يجب أن تقتنيه كل مدرسة، لأنه يشمل على موضوعات اساسية عن إنشاء المدارس وكذلك المحافظة على صحة التلاميذ، هذا بالإضافة لكونه منهجاً للتثقيف الصحي الذي يمكن تدريسه بكليات المعلمين وكليات التربية، وفي هذه الطبعة رأينا أن نضيف إليها بعض الإضافات المفيدة التي تخدم الموضوع، وخاصة أمراض سوء التغذية التي أضيف إليها معلومات جعلتها أكثر عمقاً وتفصيلاً، كما أضيف فصل كامل عن تلوث البيئة وأثاره على صحة التلاميذ لما لهذا الموضوع من أهمية حتى يمكن المحافظة على صحة التلاميذ من الآثار الضارة لتلوث البيئة.
