إن الطبعة البوليسية قد نشرت منذ عدَة عقود مؤلفات المثلث الرحمات المطران جرمانس معقَد، مؤسّس الجمعية البوليسية، ومؤلفات الرعيل الأوَل من الآباء البوليسييّن. وتنوي منشورات المكتبة البوليسية أن تحيي هذه المؤلّفات. فتعيد اليوم طباعة كتاب للمثلث الرحمات المطران بولس أشقر البولسي بعنوان "إن شئت أن تفهم ذبيحة القدَاس الإلهي ومعانيه"
وبما أن النص الليترجيّ قد خضع لبعض تغييرات في الترجمة العربيَة، فقد عمدنا إلى تبديل النص القديم بالنص الجديد الصادر عن اللجنة الليترجيَة البطريركيَة.
وإرتأينا أن ندخل في الشرح معظم طلوات الليترجية الإلهية منذ "صلاة الباب" حتَى صلوات الشكر، وأضفنا إليها في ملحق، أناشيد القيامة وأناشيد الأسبوع وقنداق الختام، وذلك لكي يفهم القراء، ولا سيما المنتمين إلى طقوس أخرى، ما شرحه المؤلف بصيغة سؤال وجواب.
