ليس صعباً دخول عالم الشاعر. ليس صعباً دخول أعماقه وقلبه، وعقله. فهو يفتح الأبواب لكل طارق محب كان أو غير محب. يفتح صدر شعره اليقظ المشحون حباً بشيء مجهول قابل للصيرورة، فكأن الشعر هو الفكر، وكأن الفكر هو الشعر. وشاعر صاحب هذه الدراسة عبد الله باشراحيل هو ذاك الشاعر الذي تحاول غريد الشيخ بيان ذلك من خلال بيان الدلالات الفنية والإنسانية في شعره، ومع المضي عميقاً في شعره نستشف أنه الشاعر الذي يعرف ويسمي ما يعرف، والذي يحس بأحاسيس قومه ويسمي بالكلمات ما يحس، والذي يتوجع بأوجاع شعبه ويرسم بالكلمة الآهة، وهو إلى هذا كله نسمع من شعره صوت انكسار حلمه، وصوت انكسار آماله وصوت انكسار مثالياته، وصوت انكسار الحياة من حوله.
وفي المقابل أيضاً نسمع من شعره صوت إيقاعه الفرح، وصوت رقص كلماته الإيقاعي، وصوت دهشته الموسيقي، وصوت سعادة العالم من حوله، وصوت الإنسان. لم يكن عسيراً على الكاتبة دخول عالم عبد الله باشراحيل الشعري، لم يكن صعباً عليها دخول أعماقه، وقلبه، وعقله من خلال أعماله الشعرية، فالرحلة في وإلى دنيا شاعريته المأخوذين إليها في هذه الدراسة هي رحلة جديرة بالاهتمام، بالتأمل، بالمتابعة، فهي رحلة تبدأ بالدهشة وتنتهي بالدهشة، تماماً كما الفعل الإبداعي يبدأ بالدهشة وينتهي بالدهشة. فهو ينشد شعراً يكاد يذوب رقة ويحكي من خلاله نبض قلبه بأنواع الحب الذي عاشه. بدءاً بحب الوطن، مروراً بحب المرأة التي أخلص لها، وصولاً إلى حب الأصدقاء والأقارب والمقربين الذين طعن من قبل بعضهم، غير أنه تعالى على الجرح وتابع الطريق شامخ الرأس واثق الخطى، مسترسلاً في عطاءاته الشعرية التي تسمح الأمة الإسلامية والعربية صوتاً شعرياً متميزاً من أصوات شعراء المملكة العربية السعودية.
