يدور موضوع الكتاب في فلك استبدال حركة إعرابية أو بنائية بأخرى، أو الإنزياح من حركةٍ إلى أخرى لتوكيد الكلمة موضع الإنزياح، أو الإستبدال بجذب الإنتباه إليها، وهو جذب يفرض نفسه على القارئ، أو السامع، أو الناقد ليتفكر في سبب هذا الإنزياح –الخروج عن المألوف- وما يفضي إليه من دلالةٍ على حسب قصد المتكلم، أو المؤلف، أو المنتج الذي لا بد من أن يكون بينه وبين المتلقي أياً كان تواصل إخباري، ليتمكن هذا المتلقي من تبين مراد هذا المتكلَم مستعيناً بوسائل متعددة داخل المقول، أو النصَ، وخارجه. ويتبدى هذا الإنزياح بوضوح وجلاء تامين في الآيات القرآنية، والشواهد العربية الفصيحة نثرها وشعرها؛ لأنها منتزعة من سور قرآنية كاملة، أو قصائد شعرية، أو خطب، أو رسائل كاملة، وغيرها، فبرأي المؤلف هذه الشواهد يمكن أن تدرس على أنها جمل تنبئ عن معنى جزئي تتضامن مع بعضها، فتشكل فقراتٍ مترابطة لتنبئ عن المراد من النص كاملاً.
ولعل الهدف الرئيسي من هذا البحث (انزياح اللسان العربي الفصيح والمعنى) كما ورد عن المؤلف: "التخفيف من تلك التأويلات، والتوهمات التي لا تحتملها طبيعة اللغة، ولا شك في أن لنظرية العامل، والمعمول أثراً فيها، ولذلك آثرتُ –والكلام للمؤلف- أن أتوهم أن هنالك أصلاً انزاح عنه اللسان العربي الفصيح لتوكيد الكلمة موضع الإنزياح بجذب الإنتباه إليها، وهو جذب يفضي إلى التفكر فيها وفي دلالتها، وعليه فإن حركة الإنزياح تعد عارضةً منعت من ظهور الحركة الأصلية". عناوين الكتاب: 1- ما يمكن أن يكون تكأةً للإنزياح، 2- الإنزياح والمرفوعات، 3- باب الإشتغال والإنزياح من الرفع إلى النصب، 4- الإنزياح والجر الجواريَ، 5- الإنزياح وحركة المضارع، 6- الإنزياح والتمييز المحول، 7- الإنزياح والقلب الإعرابي، 8- الإنزياح والحكاية، 9- الإنزياح والعطف على الموضع، والتوهم، 10- الإنزياح والممنوع من الصرف، 11- الإنزياح والتركيب الموجَى، 12- الإنزياح وبعض المسائل المتفرقة...
