من خلال اطلاعى على أمهات كتب النحو واللغة وجدت أن هناك تشابها بين بعض الأبواب النحوية, أو قل: التراكيب النحوية, كما أن هناك اختلافا بين هذه التراكيب ذاتها, كما وجدت أن هناك تشابها واختلافا بين بعض الأدوات كأدوات الاستفهام, وأدوات الشرط, وأدوات العطف... إلخ
فأردت أن أجمع هذه المتشابهات والمختلفات لأنبه دارس النحو المتخصص وغير المتخصص على هذه التراكيب وهذه الأدوات ليكون على بصيرة وهو يقرأ أو يدرس أو يؤلف فى هذه الأبواب وهذه الحروف, ولعله يجد حلولا لبعض ما يعترضه من مشكلات تتصل بالمعنى النحوى أو اللغوى.
