ربما كانت الظروف السياسية والتاريخية في المراحل الماضية سببا في اقتصار الدراسات السابقة علي الشاعرات الفلسطينيات في الشتات ، ولكن هذا لا يعفي الباحث في الوقت الحاضر من عرض المشهد في صورته الحقيقية وعدم نسيان فلسطين التاريخية . ولقد ساعدني أنني عشت (33) عاما في الشتات علي أن أكون علي علم ومعرفة بالشاعرات الفلسطينيات في الشتات وأعمالهن ، ولقد أتاحت لي عودتي إلي قطاع غزة منذ عشرة أعوام ، فرصة اللقاء بشاعرات فلسطين من غزة والضفة الغربية والأرض المحتلة في عام 1948 ، وهذا ما جعلني أجمع الحسنيين وألم بصورة واضحة عن الشاعرات الفلسطينيات في المشهد الشعري الفلسطيني الذي يعاني أفراده التشظي عبر الزمان والمكان .
