جدار بغداد .. عند انفتاح بوابة المترو ، نزلت وجوه المحطة السابقة والتحقت بنا وجوه جديدة . المكان لم يكن يتسع للجميع ، لكن مع ذلك تآلف الناس وحاولوا توفير مكان لبعضهم . أما أنا فقد كنت في الخلف ، أراقب المشهد الجديد الذي اختلف عن سابقه ، رجل خمسيني بوجه دائري أبيض يضع ربطة عنق زرقاء مع ورود حمراء ، كان يتكىء على البوابة الخلفية ليتسنى له مشاهدة الجميع ، كان بلا شك رئيساً ، حتى لو كان رئيس نفسه فقط . المرأة الأفريقية ذات الملامح الخصبة كان وجهها يشتكي ، تحمل هموماً عصية ولم تنظر لأي أحد ، خصوصاً الرئيس . كدت أرى المرأة المحجبة لولا قصر قامتها ، فلم تظهر في الصورة ، وظهر حجابها . أما الرجل الذي كان يحمل كتاباً لم يكن حقاً يتابع شخصيات روايته بقدر متابعته لبنت كانت تكلم حبيبها بانفعال ، وهذا ما أمتعه أكثر . الرجل الملتحي لم يكن يحب الموقف بالكامل ، وإضافة لذلك لم يكن يستند على شيء ، إذ كان يهتز يميناً وشمالاً عند انعطاف الطريق ، كنت أعتقد أنه سيينفجر في وجه الجميع ، من الغضب . تركتهم ونزلت عند وصولنا المحطة القادمة ، توجهت نحو الإتجاه الآخر لأخذ مترو آخر وعربة أخرى . على رصيف المحطة الجديدة لم أستطع الإلتحاق بمن ركبوا ، فالمكان لا يتسع للجميع .
