يختص هذا الوجيز في شرح (قانون التجارة العُماني) اقتصر مؤلفه المحامي الدكتور "أحمد الصرايرة" في مادته على التعريف بالقانون التجاري ومصادره وخصائصه، بالإضافة إلى تناوله الأعمال التجارية التي نص عليها قانون التجارة العُماني رقم (55/90) وأحكام التاجر والمتجر. يفيد من موضوعاته الطالب المبتدىء في دراسة القانون. لذلك فهو يبتعد نوعاً عن الجدل الفقهي لبعض الموضوعات يترافق هذا مع اعتماد المؤلف أسلوب المقارنة مع نصوص القوانين العربية الأخرى مثل قانون التجارة الأردني، وقانون التجارة المصري، والعراقي، والكويتي، في محاولة لبيان أوجه الإختلاف والشبه بين القانون العُماني والقوانين العربية الأخرى.
يتوزع الكتاب على فصل تمهيدي وبابين، في الفصل التمهيدي: تعريف بالقانون التجاري وموقعه من أقسام القانون ونطاق تطبيقه ومصادره، وفي الباب الأول: مفهوم العمل التجاري والنتائج المترتبة على التمييز بين الأعمال التجارية والأعمال المدنية، (قانون التجارة العُماني)، وأما الباب الثاني فكان في مفهوم "التاجر" و "المتجر" والشروط الواجب توافرها لاكتساب صفة التاجر، وبحث في الطبيعة القانونية للمتجر وأحكام (عقد بيع المتجر، إيجار المتجر، ورهن المتجر).
