ويحاول هذا الكتاب الإجابة عن سؤال واحد هو: كيف عاش الإنسان في الماضي -ولا نقصد كيفية العيش بمعناها الواسع متضمنة وسائل لاقدرة على ضبط السلوك وتوجيهه توجيها صالحا من خلال إختبار نمط معين من التربية.
