في تلك الدراسة التسامح والإخاء الإنساني في الإسلام دراسة تاريخية، وددت أن أنال ولو لقدر بسيط من الأمل لدراسة موضوع يتعلق بدراسات أكاديمية وعلمية عن تاريخ التسامح والإخاء الإنساني في الإسلام، في وقت أصبح فيه عالمنا المعاصر يحتاج لدراسات تنم عن وعي كامل بهوية الإسلام وينابيعه وحدائقه التي كلل أغصانها الندى، فارتقت في سماء الكمال أعلى المنازل، فورث محبوه كل ألوان الرضا والفضائل، ونال من أعزه أعذب المناهل.
وقد قسمت تلك الدراسة إلى مقدمة وخاتمة وستة مباحث، طرحت فيها أراء حررت فاح من نور كمالها من أعزوا الإسلام وأهله، ولاح من نور جمالها التسامح والإخاء الإنساني الذي جاء به الإسلامي لينقذ الإنسانية الضائعة من وثنية الضمير وسوء المصير إلى فجر جديد، حمل من رحاب الكرم والتسامح الإنساني والرحمة والعطف والشفقة ببني البشر ما سجله التاريخ عبر عصوره الممتدة في بيداء الحياة، وهذه الدراسة تتناول طبقاً للمنهج العلمي والتحليل التاريخي في ستة مباحث كالآتي:-
المبحث الأول: إنسانية الإسلام، المبحث الثاني: فقد تناول التسامح والإخاء الإنساني في الإسلام في عصر النبوة، المبحث الثالث: التسامح والإخاء الإنساني في الإسلام عصر الخلفاء الراشدين، المبحث الرابع: التسامح والإخاء الإنساني في الإسلام عصر الدولة الأموية والعباسية، المبحث الخامس: التسامح والإخاء الإنساني في الإسلام عصر الدولة الفاطمية، المبحث السادس: التسامح والإخاء الإنساني في الإسلام في أوروبا الغرب المسيحي.
وفي تلك الدراسة أأمل أن يجد القارئ أو الباحث قدراً معقولاً من لغة الحوار والخطاب الإسلامي المعتدل، وفي محاولة لرصد الجانب التاريخي والحضاري الذي تميز به الإسلام في سياسة التسامح والإخاء الإنساني، وبدون تميز أو تحيز.
