هذا الكتاب نفيس لشرف موضوعه وهو الكلام في الذات العلية, ولأن مؤلفه من الجامعيين بين الشريعة والحقيقة ومن الذين يوقرون العلماء ويعظمونهم بسبب أنهم نواب عن رسول الله صلي الله عليه وسلم في تبليغ الدين إلي العالمين وآية ذلك: قوله رضي الله عنه: لم أدخل علي أستاذي أبي علي إلا صائماً, وكنت أغتسل قبل ذلك, وكنت أحضر باب مدرسته غير مرة فأرجع من الباب أحتشاماً من أن أدخل عليه وكيف لا يكون من أولياء الله.
وقد هدي إلي شرح أسماء الله الحسني وترك الذين يلحدون في أسمائه؟
وموضوع الكتاب أشرف المواضيع وأعظمها, ولا يستغني مسلم عنه لأنه به يعرب قدر الخالق وعظمته, وما يجب له, وما يجوز في حقه, وما يستحيل عليه, وقد بين أن خالق العالم المحسوس هو الله تعالي, الذي ليس كمثله شئ وهو السميع البصير, وحث المسلم علي تنزيه أعماله عن الرياء, وذكر أسماء الله الحسني, وشرح كل أسم علي حدة شرحاً وافياً.
وبين أن الله قد كرم بني آدم وخلقهم في أحسن تقويم, وهذا منه إحسان, يجب عليهم أن يقابلوه بالأحسان.
