وفي هذا الكتاب يحاول المؤلف الوقوف على ما تجتهد به وتفسره المحاكم الروحية في لبنان، وحتى خارج لبنان بما تعلّق بالزواج وانحلاله، أو إبطاله وفسخه، وما يرافق هذا الإبطال أو يسبقه من إجراءات: نفقة... منع السفر... ردّ البطلان... هجر دائم... هجر مؤقت إلخ... كما رأى المؤلف أنه من الضروري اعتماد الدراسة المقارنة أو المفارقة بين آراء اجتهادية متعددة أدرجها تحت عناوين مختارة من دراسات أو مقالات حقوقية كنسية تتدرج جميعها في سياق "القانون المقارن" أو التباين في النظرة الحقوقية القضائية بين مذهب وأخر.
