دخلت حجرته خلسة، الحجرة التي بجوار الباب حيث كان ينام عمار، عثرت على كشكول كان يدون فيه خواطره ويومياته في بيت عبدون، وجدت فيه مجموعة من الخطابات كان ينوي إرسالها إلى زوجته سميرة في أسيوط، ولم يرسلها، الغريب أنه لم يبثها شوقه وهيامه، ظننتها أخته أو شقيقته، بعد أن قرأت الرواية، عرفت أنها زوجته، خطاباته بالغة الرقة والعذوبة، احتفظت بالكشكول، ولما قررت الحضور إلى القاهرة أحضرته معي دون سبب، ربما لأقرأ فيه فى الأوقات التي تصبح فيه مأزومة، هل من المعقول أن يكون عمار الذي كان يعمل خادماً لدينا يصبح كاتباً روائياً ويكتب الروايات التي يقرأها الناس؟
