أهداني الأستاذ محمد أسلم رضا محمد شفيع - الطالب الباكستاني بجامعة الأزهر الشريف - كتاب الصوفية النقشبندية في السند تأليف أساتذه وشيخه الدكتور صاحب زاده أبو الخير الزبير منذ عام، وعندما قرأت هذا الكتاب أعجبني، لأنه يتناول موضوعاً جديداً علينا في مصر والعالم العربي، فالطريقة النقشبندية معروفة عندنا ولها مشايخ وأتباع كثيرون، ولكن لا نعلم شيئاً عن مشايخها وأحوالهم، وكرامتهم، وكتبهم في السند مما يزيد من أهمية هذا الكتاب، ويجعله إثراءاً للمكتبة العربية.
ومؤلفه شيخ معروف من مشايخ الطريقة النقشبندية في السند (باكستان) ورث المشيخة أباً عن جد ولديه مكتبة ضخمة بها مصادر ومخطوطات مهمة ورثها عن جده، مما هيأ له فرصة الكتابة باستقاضة عن أشهر مشايخ الطريقة النقشبندية الحقيقيين وليس المدعين التصوف، لذلك فكرت في ترجمة هذا الكتاب لكي يعرف القراء في مصر والعالم العربي جزءاً مهماً من تاريخ السند، ولقد تركت إرشادات أولئك الصوفية الكبار علامات بارزة أيضاً على حضارة السند، وثقافتها، وعاداتها وتقاليدها، وأسلوب العيش فيها، وحتى اليوم ما زالت روائحها تفوح في السند.
