"الاقتصاد النقدي" هو الثالث في سلسلة دراسات "مبادئ الاقتصاد السياسي". في هذا الجزء يدرس الباحث الظاهرة النقدية والبعد النقدي للنشاط الاقتصادي، خاصة في المجتمع الرأسمالي، لاستكمال المعرفة المتعلقة بالعملية الاقتصادية بعيديها العيني والنقدي في تفاعلهما في أداء العملية الاقتصادية وحركتها عبر الزمن. يقوم الباحث أولاً بدراسة النظرية العامة للنقود لينتهي إلى النقود في الاقتصاد المصري والاقتصاد اللبناني والاقتصاد السوري، ويقوم من ثم بالتعريف بالمؤسسات التي تنشغل بالنقود، وهي البنوك وباقي حكمها، منتهياً بدراسة للنقود في نظريات أداء الاقتصاد الرأسمالي، أي تلك التي تنشغل بأداء الاقتصاد الرأسمالي الوطني في مجموعه، وعلى الأخص النظريات التي تركز على التيارات النقدية الممثلة لنتيجة هذا الأداء في الفترة الإنتاجية على هذا الأساس جاءت هذه الدراسة للاقتصاد النقدي في أبواب ثلاثة: الباب الأول: في التعريف بالنقود، الباب الثاني: في المؤسسات النقدية، الباب الثالث: في النقود ونظريات أداء الاقتصاد الرأسمالي هذا وبعد أن قام المؤلف بدراسة مشكلات الاقتصاد والنقدي في الجزء الثاني من مؤلفه في مبادئ الاقتصاد السياسى، يقوم في الجزء الثالث بدراسة يعرض المعارف النظرية في صدد دراسته الاقتصاد الدولي، على النحو التالي: الباب التمهيدي: في الأداء اليومي للاقتصاد الرأسمالي. الباب الأول: العلاقات الاقتصادية الدولية للاقتصادين المصري واللبناني. الباب الثاني: في الاقتصاد الدولي المعاصر. الباب الثالث: التفسير النظري للعلاقات الاقتصادية الدولية.
