من هذا الكتاب... يقول عميد الموساد "موشيه فراجي" في دراسة له بعنوان: (إسرائيل وحركة تحرير جنوب السودان) إن من غوريون أول رئيس وزراء لإسرائيل، أمر أجهزة الأمن للإتصال بزعامات الأقليات في العراق والسودان وإقامة علاقات معها، وأقامت إسرائيل تاريخياً محطات إتصال في كل من إثيوبيا وأوغندا وكينيا والكونغو.
ويذكر أيضاً أن "جون قرنق" كان على علاقة قوية بإسرائيل، وأن أفراداً من الموساد شاركوا في سقوط عدد من مدن الجنوب في أيدي المتمردين في عام 1990م، وتشير بعض التقارير إلى أن حادث تحطم طائرة جرنج كانت تقف وراءه إسرائيل، بعدما بدأ يميل إلى وحدة السودان، ويبدو الدور الإسرائيلي في أزمة دارفور واضحاً جلياً، فلم تخف بعض قيادات التمرد صلتها بإسرائيل، ويعتبر أنصار اللوبي الإسرائيلي الأمريكي أن نشاطهم بحملة إنقاذ دارفور، كان وراء تشكيل رأي عام عالمي لدفع المجتمع الدولي لإتخاذ قرار من الأمم المتحدة بإرسال قوات دولية إلى دارفور، كما تم إكتشاف شبكات لتهريب أسلحة إسرائيلية إلى المتمردين في دارفور...
أما وزير الأمن الداخلي الإسرائيلي "أفي ديختر" فقال عام 2008م إن السودان بموارده ومساحته الشاسعة وعدد سكانه يشكل عمقاً إستراتيجياً لمصر، وقد تحول إلى قواعد تدريب لسلاحها الجوي وقواتها البرية بعد حرب 1967م، وأرسل قوات إلى منطقة القناة خلال حرب الإستنزاف، وكان لا بد أن نعمل على إضعافه وحرمانه من بناء دولة قوية موحدة من أجل دعم أمننا القومي...
