للعربية تفرد في مجال الأصوات يشهد به أهلها، والأجانب عنها، وقد أفصح علماؤها الأوائل عن كثير من جوانب هذا التفرد، وألوانه، وخاصة في مجال ذوق الحروف المفردة، وتركيب الكلمات والعبارات منها، وهذا الكتاب- الذى بين يديك- يتناول الأصوات اللغوية من جانبيين يطلق عليهما لدى الأوروبيين اسما (الفوناتيك) و (الفونولوجى).
أبدأ فيه- بعون الله تعالى- بمدخل أعرض فيه للتعريف بالصوت ودراسته ومزاياها وأثر علمائنا في الدراسة الصوتية، ثم اجعل الكتاب سبعة أبواب:
الباب الأول: أبحث فيه ما كشفه علم الأصوات الحديث من صلة بين الصوت الطبيعى والصوت اللغوى، والباب الثاني: أحلل فيه مخارج الأصوات العربية وصفاتها، وأوضح ملامحها وأسرارها، وفي الباب الثالث: أتحدث عن الأبنية اللغوية، فأبين المنهج الصوتى للبناء اللغوى وفلسفته، كما أعرض بالبحث والتحليل المقاطع الصوتية والنبر والتنغيم وأثر تجاور الأصوات وطول الصوت اللغوى.
وفي الباب الرابع أحاول تفسير بعض مشكلات العربية الفصحى من وجهة النظر الصوتية، وفي الباب الخامس أتحدث عن خروج اللغة العربية من الجزيرة، وانتشارها، وكيف دخلت مصر مع أهلها الذين حملوا الإسلام دين السماحة والحرية، وكيف التقت مع اللغة المصرية القديمة، والآثار والنتائج التي ترتبت على ذلك، في مجالات الأصوات وتعدد اللهجات، في المفردات والتراكيب اللغوية.
وفي الباب السادس تكون لنا جولات ميدانية لدراسة الأصوات اللغوية في لهجة صنعاء، مما هو مبنى على المشافهة والتسجيلات الصوتية، وفي الباب السابع أذكر نبذة في علم التجويد لما له من أثر في الدراسة الصوتية والأدائية والتنبيه على خطورة كتابة القرآن ونطقه وتسجيله بغير لغة العرب.
وفي هذا الكتاب أسلك المنهج العلمى وأناقش- بإذن الله تعالى وعونه- القديم والحديث في هذه الميادين المتعددة حتى اصل غلى النتائج العلمية السديدة، وأتركها للباحث ليحكم عليها بالنظرة المنصفة الموضوعية، وأملى أن يكون هذا البحث الصوتى المتخصص عملاً جدياً يفيد أرباب العربية، ومتعلميها، والمهتمين بها.
