﴿مِنَ الْمُؤْمِنِينَ رِجَالٌ صَدَقُوا مَا عَاهَدُوا اللَّهَ عَلَيْهِ فَمِنْهُمْ مَنْ قَضَى نَحْبَهُ وَمِنْهُمْ مَنْ يَنْتَظِرُ وَمَا بَدَّلُوا تَبْدِيلاً (23)﴾... [سورة الأحزاب: الآية 23].
كان السيّد رضا طاهر مجاهداً لا يعرف التعب والملل، وكان طاهراً معطراً يشعّ نوره كالنجم بين مقاتلي فرقة 25 كربلاء.
كان نموذج المقاومة، وبطلَ ساحةِ الوغى، وكانت الشجاعة والثبات والمقاومة والصبر والأدب والأخلاق الحسنة من الصفات البارزة في هذا الشهيد العظيم الذي ضحّي في سبيل الله تعالى بكل شيء من أجل أهدافه السامية.
لقد شاهدنا مواجهته البطلة والفريدة مع الجلاوزة التكفيريين وعملاء أمريكا والكيان الصهيوني الغاصب، في فروردين وارديبهشت عام 1395 هـ. ش، التي بيّنت جوهره ومعدنه أمام إخوته المجاهدين، كما أظهرت مدى تفانيه في حبّه للسيدة زينب عليها السلام.
حارب وضحى وقاتل قتالاً منقطع النظير في منطقة البيت الأصفر في المحور الأيمن من منطقة خان طومان الواقعة في حلب حتى الشهادة.
كما أدىّ والده ووالدته وأسرته دورهم خلال حياة الشهيد وبعد إستشهاده على أتمّ وجه بالصبر والثبات متأسّين بالإمام السجاد عليهم السلام والسيّدة زينب عليهم السلام.
وبقينا نحن ننتظر الإلتحاق بأعزّتنا إن شاء الله أو نحظى بشفاعتهم بإذنه تعالى.
