ولتسهيل الاضطلاع على مادة هذه الموسوعة فقد تم ترتيبها كما يلي: أولاً: تم تقسيم الكتاب إلى أبواب متسلسلة حسب تسلسل الأحرف ألأبجدية، ثانياً: تم عزو موضوع الرؤيا إلى أصل الكلمة، ثم أدرج تحت الحرف الأبجدي الذي تبتدئ به الكلمة. ثالثاً: تم تفسير كل موضوع باسم المعبر، ثم أورد تعبيره، هذا مع الالتزام بالنصوص الواردة عنهم كما هي.
