هذه الدراسة للباحث الفلسطيني "علاء الدين عياش" تتناول ملامح الأفلام التسجيلية الفلسطينية ومعالجتها للقضية الفلسطينية; لما للقضية الفلسطينية من أهمية أولاً، ثم لما لتلك الأفلام من أهمية كبيرة في دعم النضال الوطني الفلسطيني، وصولاً إلى حق تقرير المصير الفلسطيني وهي انتفاضة الأقصى، والتي أعادت للقضية أوجها وقوتها، وتحاول هذه الدراسة أن تصل إلى مدى خدمة هذه الأفلام للقضية الفلسطينية.
وتهدف هذه الدراسة إلى التعرف على كيفية معالجة الأفلام التسجيلية الفلسطينية للقضية الفلسطينية، كما تسعى إلى التعرف على القضايا والموضوعات التي تتناولها تلك الأفلام التسجيلية، فتناولت الدراسة التحليلية جهات الإنتاج والتمويل وأهم القضايا والموضوعات التي تتناولها الأفلام وحدود استخدام عناصر الصورة والصوت فيها، والشخصيات التي تتناولها، كما تناولت الدراسة التحليلية أهم العلاقات الارتباطية بين المتغيرات المختلفة، ومنها متغير القضايا والموضوعات ومتغير نوع المخرج، كما أن العلاقات الارتباطية كانت بين متغير جهات الإنتاج والتمويل مع نوع المخرج، وبين متغير القضايا والموضوعات ومتغير مكان إقامة المخرج، علماً أن الدراسة اقتصرت على المخرجين الفلسطينين المقيمين في الضفة الغربية وقطاع غزة والأراضي الفلسطينية المحتلة عام 1948 (داخل الخط الأخضر)
