وتعتبر "هامليت" جزءاً من سلسلة روايات "Manga Shakespeare" المصورة، والتي تقوم بعرض مسرحيات "William Shakespeare" الأصلية بشكل جديد وعصري. وقد تم إستخدام النص الأصلي لشكسبير مع الرسومات المستوحاة من الفن الياباني – وقام بالتقديم "Richard Appigananesi"، ورسم اللوحات لفناني "Manga" الرواد – مما ساعد على إحياء كلمات "Bard" للدراسين، وامتاع محبي شكسبير و "Manga".
