في الحلم أيضاً, قبيل هرولتي في الصحراء, لم يكن هناك سبب وجيه أتذكره لأترك سيارتي وحدها في الظلام علي الطريق السريع.
توقعت الشر بعد لا أعرف كم من الوقت, حين أفلت من الحادثة, بدت السيارة كما هي.
ثم أكتشفت الباب الخلفي المتواري عن الطريق.
كأني ضربته بعيني ليعوج.
دخلت من نافذته المحطمة, كنت في بطن حوت ميت.
لي شئ يخصني في الصندوق الخلفي لا أتذكره بالتحديد. < br> أصل إليه من الداخل كثعبان, أسحبه ثم أحمله علي كتفي.
المقاعد مدمرة والمحرك خامد, شطايا الزجاج في كل مكان, تركتها علي الطريق السريع خربة, هيكلاً لا يوحي بشئ, قابعة في الظلام كسلحفاة محتطة لا تتحرك.
كان ما يخصني داخل الصندوق هو جثتك أنت.
