وكذلك يتضمّن قراءة سياسية عن الإنتخابات البلدية والإختيارية التي جرت في الجنوب في دورة العام 2010، وما تلاها من إنتخابات فرعية، وما رافقها من تطوّرات بشأنها في أقضية: صيدا، صور وجزين، مع لمحة تاريخية عن البلدات وأعداد الناخبين والمقترعين، وقد اعتمدنا الترتيب الأبجدي لأسماء البلدات، وللنتائج وفقاً لعدد الأصوات، مع دليل بأرقام الهواتف، ونشر صور لرؤساء البلديات في البلدات التي لا توجد فيها بلديات، وللمخاتير في البلدات التي لا توجد فيها بلديات.
ويُعتبر هذا الكتاب وثيقة هامة للواقع البلدي والإختياري في محافظة لبنان الجنوبي، والتي تشمل 177 بلدة، يمثّلها 2518 عضواً بلدياً ومختاراً وعضو مجلس إختياري.
هذا الكتاب هو نذرٌ قليل من الوفاء إلى الجنوب وأهله، الذين قدّموا التضحيات الجِسام من أجل لبنان، كما ناضلوا من أجل تحرير الأرض من الإحتلال الإسرائيلي وتحقيق التنمية لمحو الحرمان الذي عانوا من آلامه طوال سنين...
