"وطنان... وغربة" يحكي قصة حياتي ببعض تفاصيلها الدقيقة، منذ اليوم الذي ولدت فيه في بلدة "البصّة" الفلسطينية الواقعة على مرمى حجر من الحدود اللبنانية، حيث عشت طفولتي الأولى حتى اليوم الذي هُجَرنا فيه إلى لبنان خلال نكبة فلسطين عام 1948.
وبين بلدة الناقورة ومدينة صور، عشت المعاناة على إختلاف فصولها، إلى أن قيض الله تعالى لي الهجرة إلى سيراليون في غرب أفريقيا حيث تيسّرت لي سبل الرزق بمساعدة الأقارب الذين سبقوني إلى تلك البلاد، ثم عودتي إلى لبنان وتأسيس تجارة ناشطة مكنتني من مواجهة ظروف الحياة ومساعدة عائلة كانت تكبر شيئاً فشيئاً.
هي أيضاً حكاية الإغتراب اللبناني الذي ملأ الدنيا بشرقها وغربها، بجنوبها وشمالها، وهي قبل ذلك حكاية شاب عصامي كانت القيم منهجه في الحياة.
