هذا الكتاب، الذي صدر للمرة الاولى باللغة الفرنسية، في عام (2002م) من تأليف الاستاذة الجامعية الفرنسية ليتيسيا بوكاي، والتي عملت أيضاً صحفية مراسلة لجريدة لوموند الفرنسية. وهذا المؤلف الذي أثار اهتمام كثير من الأوساط العلمية في الجامعات الاوروبية والأمريكية ما استدعى ترجمته الى لغات عديدة منها الانكليزية والالمانية والكورية، يحوي محصلة تجارب المؤلفة في الاراضي الفلسطينة المحتلة عام (1967م)، ومرآة ما شاهدته هناك وعايشته، خصوصاً الارتباط بالانتفاضة الفلسطينية الثانية التي دخلت التاريخ باسم (انتفاضة الأقصى). والكاتبة تدخل القارئ في تفاصيل الحياة اليومية في الأراضي الفلسطينية المحتلة عام (1967م) على نحو ما يبدو سردها وكأنه فيلم وثائقي تراه العين ولا تقرؤه.
هذا الكتاب هو أول مؤلف يتعامل مع الآثار الاجتماعية للانتفاضة في طبقات الشعب الفلسطيني في ما يعرف باسم (أراضي 67) وكذلك في قطاعات المجتمع السياسية والاقتصادية والمنظومة الأخلاقية المختلفة. إلخ، بصراحة متناهية. فمع أنه صدرت مؤلفات عديدة تتعامل مع الانتفاضة الفلسطينية الا اننا نظن أن هذا المؤلف استثنائي في أهميته لانه يسمي كثيراً من الاشياء بأسمائها، من دون مداورة.
