هذا شرح العلامة البارع في الأصول العربية، عبد الله بن محمد الحسيني المعروف بنقره كار- أي صائغ الفضة- على الشافية في علمي التصريف والخط للفقيه الأصولي أبي عمر عثمان بن عمر المعروف بابن الحاجب، التي جمع فيها زبدة فن التصريف، غير تارك مما يجب عليه، ولا يجمل بالمتأدب جهله شيئاً، وقد ظل شرح نقره كار سراً محجوباً، وكنزاً مدفوناً لا يقرب منه أحد إلا أخذه البهر وأعجزه الوقوف على غوامضه وأسراره؛ لأنه كتاب ملئ تحقيقاً، وجمع فيه أوابد الفن وشوارده، والذين قاموا على طبعه في الآستانة ومصر لم يعطوه من العناية ما يستحقه. لذلك استعنت الله واستمددته التوفيق على التحقيق ليخرج المخطوط في ثوب قشيب، يقرب محبي العربية منه، ولعلي بهذا التحقيق أكون قد وفقت لإخراج شرح الشافية لنقره كار في مرأى يسر نواظر طلاب العربية ويطلعهم على ما في هذا الكتاب الجليل من محاسن، وما بذله مؤلفه فيه من جهد، والله المسئول أن يعلمنا ما ينفعنا وأن ينفعما بما علمنا وأن يزيدنا علماً والحمد لله رب العالمين.
