رسالة إلكترونية وصلتنى من شاب، حيرتني كثيراًن ليس بيننا سابق معرفة، ولكنه يطلب مني أن أكتب مقدمة مجموعته الأدبية الجديدة... لماذا أنا؟؟ طب اقري بس وأنتي تعرفي ليه؟ بهذا الأسلوب البسيط أخذني من يدي لأفتح أول صفحة، رغم كل المشاغل، والمواعي، وزنقة الوقت. فتحت على مضض، ماهو بيزن... وبيزن بطريقة محببة، وابن الإيه يعلم- مش عارفة إزاي- كم أحب البساطة واللسعان... فتحت لابدأ ب "دفا السبرتاية" وتلتصق عيني بشاشة الكمبيوتر حتى آخر كلمة من السوجارة... إيديا نملت، رجليا نملت، عينيا نملت... ولكني لم أشعر بكل هذا إلا عندما انتهت السطور، لأجد نفسي أقول: "إيه؟ خلاص كده؟ خلصت المجموعة؟"
يا ابن الإيه يا أحمد، الآن عرفت وزالت حيرتي، ده انت لو ماكنتش زنيت كنت حازعل منك قوي، ما هذا الدفء؟ ما هذه العذوبة؟ كتلة من المشاعر، وخليط رائع، ومذهل من الحكمة، والعقل، والتأمل، والحزن، والفرح، وخفة الدم، واللسعان... لغة جديدة وعصرية جداً، لا تكلف ولا تقعر... ببساطة، وانطلاق يفرض شخصيته، ورؤيته، وقراره أيضاً. أنا كده، وبفكر كده، وبحس كده... مش شبه حد، ولا أريد أن استرضي أحداً أو أقلده... هذا أنا، قبلتوني قبلتوني، ما قبلتونيش ربنا يسامحكوا بقى، أما السر، سر إنه اختارني أن من بين جموع الكتاب العظام، والناس اللي ممكن يكونوا أحسن مني ميت مرة، هو إحساسه بأني سأفهم الناحية الدرامية التصويرية في الموضوع؛ يمكن عشان أنا بتاعت سيما، فهمت كيف يرى ما يكتب، إنه يكتب بعينه، ويرى شخوصه، ويحيطهم بدفء المكان والحدث وليس بالقلم، ولكن بالكاميرا، وهو أصعب أنواع الكتابة للسينما، فإذا شعرت وأنت تقرأ "دفا السبرتاية" بسخونة لهبها على أصابعك، فقد نجح أحمد، وفي رأيي المتواضع أنه نجح. يابن الإيه يا أحمد، أصفق لك وأنا كلي امتنان، وأضيف لي الشرف، كل الشرف، أن أكتب المقدمة، ومن حقي أن أتراذل وأقول: "لو سمحت، احجز لي المقدمة اللي جاية"
